J. Mikel Reynolds is a Dallas commercial real estate professional whose career spans more than five decades. A graduate of SMU Cox School of Business (BBA in Finance, Real Estate, and Economics) and co-founder of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors®, Mikel has held senior leadership positions at some of Texas' most respected firms before co-founding Reynolds & Lapp Commercial, LLC in 2008.
Mikel specializes in industrial and multi-family investment properties, and is known throughout the Dallas market for his ability to source creative financing structures that close complex deals. As National Marketing Director of Grubb & Ellis Asset Services Corporation, he directed some of the largest real estate auctions in U.S. history — including the 1992 FDIC National Real Estate Auction of 250 properties valued at $750 million, recognized at the time as the largest real estate auction ever conducted. His network of institutional lenders, equity partners, and developers has been built and deepened over a lifetime of doing business in Texas and nationally.
